Police Arrest Man In Critical Crown Heights Car Strike: NYPD
A 29-year-old man was charged for hitting a woman with his car and fleeing the scene, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Authorities arrested a man for hitting a woman with his hulking SUV and fleeing the scene, police said.
Clossie Spencer, 29, was arrested and charged with assault, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident with injury, police said Wednesday night.
On Aug. 14, police claim that Spencer hit a 36-year-old woman on Pacific Street near Buffalo Avenue as he drove his 2008 Mercury Mountaineer down the street in reverse, right in front of his listed address at the Kingsborough Houses.

The SUV then fled the scene, police said.
The victim was brought to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, officials said, but no updates to her condition were immediately available.
