15-Year-Old Boy Shot To Death In Crown Heights, Police Say

The man was found with gunshot wounds in his chest, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 15-year-old boy named Tristan Sanders died after being shot in the chest in Crown Heights on Sunday evening, New York City Police Department officials said.

Police responded to a 911 call at 7:19 p.m. on Sunday for a boy shot at 1008 Saint Marks Ave., officials said.

When police got there, they found Sanders unconscious with gunshot wounds in his chest, officials said.

The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, NYPD officials said.
