Police Search For Man Who Sexually Assaulted Fort Greene Woman

The perpetrator is on the loose, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — New York City Police Department officials are searching for a man who they say shoved a woman to the ground and put his hand in her pants near the border of Prospect Heights and Fort Greene last Saturday.

According to the NYPD, the perpetrator approached the 44-year-old woman from behind near the corner of Fulton Street and Carlton Avenue on Oct. 26 at 5:35 a.m.

The perpetrator pushed her to the ground, put his hands in her pants, touched her private area, and then ran away toward Adelphi Street, police said.

The victim was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital with injuries to her hip, elbow and head, officials said.

Police say the perpetrator is in his mid-20s, has a medium build, a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and eyeglasses.
