Police Seek Crown Heights Train Stabber: NYPD

The suspect, depicted in the picture and surveillance video, stabbed a man on the 2 train, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Police are still on the lookout for a man who attacked a 25-year-old on a southbound 2 train nearly three weeks ago, and have shared surveillance video of the suspect.

The suspect, who is described to be approximately 6 feet tall, 225 pounds and has a dark complexion, medium build, black hair and black beard was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage and white sneakers as depicted in the surveillance video below.

It was reported that on July 24 at 9:45 p.m., the suspect allegedly got into a verbal dispute with the 25-year-old man and then used an unknown object to stab him in the head and torso, according to the NYPD.

The suspect, pictured above, exited the train at the Sterling Street station, but police have no idea as to where he fled. The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and was in stable condition, according to authorities.
