Police Seek Suspect In Crown Heights Shooting: NYPD

A man was randomly shot in the left leg and had to be sent to Brookdale Hospital, according to police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A 37-year-old man was sent to Brookdale Hospital on Friday morning after being shot in the left leg, according to police.

Police say the victim was at the intersection of Ralph Avenue and Saint Johns Place when an unidentified man approached the victim and, without provocation, displayed and fired a gun at him multiple times.

Police said the shooting happened around midnight.
