Prospect Heights Early AM Fire Injures 4: FDNY

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out in a large Prospect Heights apartment building early Friday morning, leaving four people injured, according to officials, with one in serious condition.

At about 5 a.m., fire fighters responded to a first floor fire at 209 Underhill Ave. at the corner of St. Johns Place, according to the FDNY.

An hour an a half later, the department said the flames were under control.

Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
