SEE: Pieces Of Ceiling Fall On 3 Train At Franklin Ave.; Trains Run Express
The New York City subway infrastructure is literally crumbling.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — New York City's subway infrastructure was literally crumbling during the Tuesday morning commute.
Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, pieces of the ceiling fell on a 3 train at Franklin Avenue, forcing riders to evacuate the train in the station.
The MTA ran Manhattan-bound 2 and 3 trains express through the station during the cleanup. Things apparently got fixed up, at least to the point where trains could run safely again, as the trains were running at full service by about 11:30.
