Stranger Gropes, Kisses Child In PLG Subway Station: NYPD

Police said an unidentified man kissed and hugged a young girl at the President Street subway station on Thursday.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a stranger who they said hugged and kissed an eight-year-old girl on a Prospect Lefferts Gardens subway platform last week.

On Thursday, Feb. 2, a man with a cane approached the young girl as she stood on the subway platform at the President Street 2 and 5 train station with her 15-year-old brother, officials said.

The man then hugged the young girl, kissed her on the nose and hand, and patted her on the head before fleeing the station, police said.

There were no injuries reported.

Police released a photo and surveillance footage of a man they believe is connected to the incident.
