Subway Slasher Arrested After Crown Heights Attack: NYPD
A man accused of slashing a straphanger in the face in Brooklyn was arrested Monday, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A man accused of slashing a woman in the face on a Crown Heights-bound 3 train was arrested Monday, police said.
Iking Dennis, 29, of Brooklyn, stands accused of slashing a 23-year-old woman in the arm and face unprovoked as the subway approached the Nostrand Avenue station about 2:54 p.m. Friday, according to the NYPD.
As the train neared the station, Dennis stuck his foot in the door, then silently cut the stranger and ran from the station, according to the NYPD.

The woman took the subway one more stop and was transported to an area hospital, where she was treated and released, police said.
Dennis now faces assault, weapons, harassment and menacing charges, police said. He was arrested Monday afternoon in Brooklyn.
