Teen Gunman Sparked Brooklyn Mass Shooting; 2 Suspects Still At Large, NYPD Says
Police say two of the three people killed in this weekend's mass shooting in Brooklyn were among the four gunmen involved.

BROOKLYN, NY — A teenage gunman opened fire on a rival at a Brooklyn lounge over the weekend, sparking a gang-related mass shooting that left three people dead, including two of the gunmen, police said.
Marvin St. Louis, 19, sparked the deadly gunfight early Sunday when he allegedly opened fire on Jamel Childs, 35 — a known member of the Folk Nation gang — inside Taste of the City lounge in Crown Heights, police said. Childs returned fire, and two more men quickly joined the shootout.
Both St. Louis and Childs were killed in the exchange, along with 27-year-old Amadou Diallo, who police later confirmed was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.

As of Tuesday, the NYPD reported that two additional suspected gunmen remain at large.
Tisch said that surveillance footage from inside the lounge captured St. Louis and Childs talking to each other about 10 minutes before the shooting. The details of their conversation have not been disclosed.

While St. Louis had no significant criminal record, Tisch noted that Childs, who faced eight prior arrests, was a member of Folk Nation — a street gang responsible for terrorizing Brooklyn and linked to at least six shootings this year.
The number of people injured in the gunfight has also risen to 14, police said Monday.
Initially, authorities reported 12 victims, but Tisch confirmed that two additional individuals later arrived at nearby hospitals with gunshot wounds.
As the NYPD continues its search for the two remaining suspects, Mayor Eric Adams urged anyone with information to come forward.
"If you were inside the club, if you heard individuals talking about this shooting, if you witnessed someone fleeing the location. Every piece of information will allow us to put the puzzle together to solve this crime," Adams said.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspects’ whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA).
