Police Pursue Car In Daytime Drive-By Shooting In Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — Authorities are investigating after they say gunshots were fired from a car at Classon Avenue and Fulton Street at 2:57 p.m. on Thursday, the New York City Police Department officials said.

According to preliminary information from the NYPD, the car, a black Honda with Mississippi plates, sped off after the shooting, but was then caught by police at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Park Place in Crown Heights.

Update, 6:37 p.m.: Police later said that officers shot at the man and woman in the car, killing the man, at Utica Avenue and Park Place. Police said that the man got out of the car with a gun drawn. Read more here.
