Weeksville Double Amputee Missing Since Oct. 17: NYPD

Edward Barnes, who uses a wheelchair for mobility, was last seen at his home on Ralph Avenue, police said.

WEEKSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A 61-year-old Weeksville man who is uses a wheelchair to get around has been missing since Monday, police said.

Edward Barnes, pictured above, was last seen at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 at his apartment building, located at 546 Ralph Ave.

Detectives describe Barnes as five-foot-eight-inches tall and weighing 217 pounds. He has undergone amputations to both legs, and uses a wheelchair for mobility.
