Woman Killed, Man Hurt When Car Jumps Curb At BK Bus Stop: Cops
20-Year-Old Aniya Blandon and another pedestrian were hit by a Dodge Charger in a Crown Heights hit-and-run on Monday, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A woman was killed and another pedestrian hurt when a car jumped a curb and slammed into people waiting at a Brooklyn bus stop early Monday morning, according to police.
Aniya Blandon, 20, was standing at the bus stop near Eastern Parkway and Utica Avenue around 2:45 a.m. when a Dodge Charger jumped the curb and hit her and another man waiting at the stop, police said.
Emergency responders found Blandon unconscious and unresponsive at the intersection and brought her to Kings County Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The 23-year-old man who was hit was also taken to Kings County Hospital with abrasions on his legs, police said. He was in stable condition.
The driver of the Dodge Charger abandoned his car after the crash and jumped into another car that was near the intersection and drove away, police said. He was last seen driving north on Utica Avenue.
