Teen Girl Fatally Shot In Face In Crown Heights, Police Say
17-year-old Shayma Roman was shot on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights Wednesday night, police said.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A teenaged girl was fatally shot in the face early Wednesday evening, police said.
Crown Heights resident Shayma Roman, 17, was attacked outside 1225 Eastern Parkway near Rochester Avenue about 6:15 p.m., according to police.
Medics rushed the teen to Brookdale Hospital, but doctors could not save her life, said police.

Authorities told Patch that as of Thursday morning, there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
