Woman In Traditional Jewish Attire Tripped In Crown Heights: NYPD
Police were investigating the incident as a hate crime — just over a week after a man was asked if he was Jewish before he was stabbed.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A man accused of tripping a woman in traditional Jewish attire was still on the loose Tuesday, nearly a week after the tumble, police said.
The 51-year-old woman was walking Thursday about 10 a.m. on Empire Boulevard near Rogers Avenue when the man tripped her, police said.
She fell and cut her hands and knees as the man, thought to be about 40 years old, kept waking.

Police were investigating the incident as a hate crime because the woman was in traditional Jewish attire, according to the NYPD.
Just over a week ago, two attackers asked a man in Crown Heights if he was Jewish before punching and stabbing him. Police were also investigating this attack as a hate crime.
