14-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Against UPS Truck In Queens: NYPD

QUEENS — A 14-year-old girl died after a car crashed against a UPS truck in Rochdale on Wednesday evening, police said.
Fortune Williams, from Rosedale, was in the passenger seat when a 16-year-old boy driving a 2005 BMW 325I at a "high-rate speed" attempted to make a lane change and crashed against a parked UPS truck on North Conduit Avenue & 160th Street around 6:40 p.m., the NYPD said.
The collision made the truck hit the person trying to enter the UPS vehicle, cops said.

The BMW spun across the roadway and crashed against another vehicle with a 49-year-old man inside, police said.
The 14-year-old girl was ejected from the vehicle, causing her death, authorities said.

The driver, who had a valid license, was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center in stable condition, cops said.
The UPS truck was unoccupied during the incident, police said, and the person hit by the truck was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
