17-Year-Old Arrested For 2022 Shooting In Jamaica: Police

The teen was charged with attempted murder after he and two others shot a 17-year-old boy in August 2022, police said.

QUEENS — A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a shooting last year that left one teenager injured in Jamaica, police said.

The teen was charged with attempted murder after he and two others shot a 17-year-old boy in front of 150-42 118th Ave., near 152nd Street, in August 2022, the NYPD said.

The teen was shot in his right thigh and he was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

The shooter also faces charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
