2 People Hurt After Glass Panel Falls From 8-Story NYC Building

QUEENS, NY — A 9-year-old girl and a 45-year-old man were left injured after a glass panel fell from an eight-story apartment building in Queens, police said.

The glass panel shattered on top of them on the sidewalk. The 9-year-old girl and 45-year-old man were both taken to North Shore Hospital, police said.

Department of Buildings officials could not determine the cause of the incident and issued a violation for failure to maintain the building to the property owners, according to an NBC New York report.
