QUEENS — A man from Corona was arrested on murder charges after fatally beating a man with a wooden board earlier this month, police said Tuesday.

Michael Santander, 20, was arrested after a 23-year-old man was beaten to death with a wooden board on 43-15 Junction Boulevard in Corona on Nov. 13, the NYPD said.

Esvin Vasquez was fighting with a group of men and then one of them struck Vasquez in the head with a wooden board about 2 a.m., the authorities said.

After the men fled, Vasquez was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
