5 Injured After All-Hands Fire Breaks Out In Queens: FDNY

QUEENS — Three people were injured after a fire broke out in a residential building in Queens Village Tuesday afternoon, the Fire Department said.
The blaze broke out in a first-floor apartment at 209-30 86th Drive about 3:30 p.m., officials said.
The flames brought 12 units and 60 firefighters to the three-story building, and the fire was under control about 4:15 p.m., according to an FDNY spokesperson.

Five people were taken to Queens General Hospital and Nassau Community Medical Center, the Fire Department said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, officials said.
