4 Shot In 3 Separate Queens Shootings Sunday
BREAKING: Four people were shot in Queens in three separate shootings between 6-30 and 10 a.m.

QUEENS, NY — Four people were wounded in three separate shootings in Queens Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
A man was shot in the neck around 6:30 a.m. in the area of 241-23 Mayda Road in Jamaica around 6:30 a.m., an NYPD spokesman told Patch. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital and is listed in stable condition. A person of interest is in custody in relation to the shooting, the spokesman said.
In the same precinct, a second shooting took place around 8:30 a.m. in the area of 144 Avenue and 227 Street where two men were shot, the NYPD said. A 38-year-old man was shot twice in the head and a 40-year-old man was shot in the torso, the spokesman told Patch.

Both victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital. The 40-year-old man is in stable condition.
Police have not identified a person of interest in relation to the second shooting and the investigation is ongoing.

Around 10 a.m., a woman was shot in the area of 141st Street and 78th Road, just outside of Forest Hills. A suspect has not been identified in that shooting.
