70-Year-Old Man Beaten In Queens Street Spat: NYPD

An as-yet-identified attacker repeatedly punched a 70-year-old man in the face last week in Flushing, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A 70-year-old man was repeatedly punched in the face during a Queens street spat, police said.

The attacker remains on the loose after he ran off from the beat down last week in Flushing that ultimately sent the elderly man to the hospital, NYPD officials said.

Police said the assault unfolded as the 70-year-old man and the as-yet-identified attacker argued Sept. 12 about 12:50 p.m. in front of 141-28 Northern Blvd, near Bowne Street.

The argument ended when the attacker punched the man repeatedly in the face, police said.
