QUEENS, NY — An attacker stabbed a Brazilian tourist in the neck inside a Queens subway station, according to police and reports.

The slashing Thursday morning left the man, 29, hospitalized and prompted a hunt for the as-yet-unidentified assailant, authorities said.

NYPD officials said it unfolded about 10:25 a.m. as the man was on the mezzanine level of Queens Plaza subway station in Long Island City.
