Butt-Grabbing Man Gropes Women Across Queens, Cops Say

A man grabbed three women's behinds and ran off during a single day last week, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A butt-grabbing man groped three women in broad daylight during a single day in Queens, police said.

The groping incidents unfolded Oct. 4 as women walked down streets in Elmhurst and Fresh Pond, authorities said.

A 24-year-old woman told police that as she passed Queens Center Mall about 1:20 p.m. a man grabbed her buttocks from behind and ran off, NYPD officials said.

Four hours later, two women, ages 24 and 25, also had their buttocks grabbed as they walked near Metropolitan Avenue and 65th Place, police said.

The suspected groper is a man about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds and with brown hair. Police released a photograph of him Thursday.
