Cord Meyer Development Hosts Grand Opening of Somedays Bakery
The new 1,238-sq-ft Somedays Bakery is the latest in a series of tenant openings at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

Somedays Bakery owners Nick Zias and Joe Vaccaro (holding ceremonial scissors) were joined by associates, representatives from Cord Meyer, and a host of elected officials, including NYS Senator Toby Ann Stavisky; NYS Assemblyman Edward Braunstein; and NYC Councilwoman Vickie Paladino. Also adding to the festivities were representatives from Bay Terrace Community Alliance, Queens Community Board 7 & 11, Queens Chamber of Commerce, Bayside Business Association, and Boys & Girls Club of Queens.
Somedays Bakery, a Parisian-inspired bakery known for its imaginative takes on classic pastries, celebrated its grand opening at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center on August 1st with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Cord Meyer Development. The event drew community leaders, elected officials, business representatives, and excited shoppers eager to sample the delicious baked goods.
