Dead Body Found On Side Of NYC Expressway: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A dead body was found off the side of a New York City expressway Tuesday morning, police said.

The body was found by a driver who had pulled over near Exit 2 of the Clearview Expressway in Queens around 9 a.m., according to an ABC 7 New York report.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification, police said.

Additional incident details were not readily available.

The city's medical examiner will determine the official cause of death, police said.
