Firefighter Killed In Queens Honored In Iran

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS — The firefighter killed in a Ridgewood blaze has been remembered by his comrades in Iran.
A fire department in Tehran held a memorial for William Tolley, who died after falling from a ladder during the April 20 fire in Queens, according to the Iranian Labor News Agency.
Tolley's Iranian counterparts working out of Fire Station 55 in Tehran held the service Wednesday.

"R.I.P. We are very sorry that tragedy struck our extended family again, and we lost another hero. Our sincere condolences to your family," read a banner held up by Persian firefighters.
