Flushing Man Sentenced After Selling Guns, Drugs To Undercover Cop: DA

Renshan Lin was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after selling over 40 grams of meth and a loaded semi-automatic pistol.

QUEENS — A man from Flushing was sentenced to prison after selling drugs and firearms to an undercover officer in 2021, the Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said over the weekend.

Renshan Lin, 37, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after selling over 40 grams of meth and a loaded semi-automatic pistol to an undercover detective between February and March 2021, prosecutors said.

Lin was arrested in May 2021 in Flushing, where he was found with 0.917 ounces of meth, Katz said.

Four months later, officers found Lin carrying a loaded gun in his backpack, the district attorney said.
