Fogo De Chão To Open Its Second NYC Location In Elmhurst
The restaurant will open on Friday, Nov. 25 will open at Queens Center Mall, joining the midtown Manhattan location.
QUEENS – The Brazilian restaurant Fogo de Chão will open in Elmhurst right after Thanksgiving, making it its second location in the city.
The restaurant will open on Friday, Nov. 25 at Queens Center Mall, joining the midtown Manhattan location.
The Queens location will donate a portion of its first week of sales to the Eduardo Escobar Foundation, founded by the third baseman for the New York Mets. The foundation provides food, medical supplies, and other necessities to people in Venezuela, where Escobar is from.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the Queens community through our doors and giving our guests a taste of the authentic Brazilian hospitality Fogo is known for,” said Barry McGowan, CEO of Fogo de Chão.
The general manager for the Queens location is Katie Calvin, who started her career with Fogo in 2019 in Portland, Oregon.

The location features a dining room with a churrasco grill in the middle and dry-aged meat lockers.
