Forest Hills, LIC Serial Rapist Arrested, More Info Saught: NYPD

QUEENS — A man from Elmhurst was arrested after raping three women in Queens in the last five months, police said.

Andres Portilla, 28, was arrested last week after he forced three women in Jackson Heights, Forest Hills, and Long Island City to have sex with him between September 2022 and January 2023, the NYPD said.

Police are seeking more information about Portilla, who was arrested on Jan. 6 about 6:30 a.m.

The first two girls, both 15 years old, were raped in Jackson Heights in September and Forest Hills on Dec. 16, respectively, authorities said.

A 21-year-old woman was later raped on Sunday, Jan. 1, about 12 a.m. between Queens Plaza South and 27 Street, police said.

Portilla faces rape, assault, kidnapping, and other charges.
