The famous stadium will be hosting some big names this summer.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Forest Hills Stadium has a line-up that will please music lovers of all genres this summer.
The summer concert series will kick off with two performances by The XX on May 19 and 20. The acclaimed band that blurs the lines between dream pop and electronic rock released its third album 'I See You' earlier this year. Electronic and soul musician Sampha, who released his debut album in February, will open for the band.
The New York Pops, led by conductor Steven Reineke, will be playing music by John Williams at the stadium on June 8. The orchestra's Kids In The Balcony program will offer 1,500 kids a chance to attend the show for free.

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós will be performing without an opening act on June 17 as part of its U.S. tour. The concert will be complemented by live visuals "pairing with the emotional heft of the music to create a wholly subsuming experience."

The summer series concludes with The National playing on Oct. 6. The band released its sixth studio album "Trouble Will Find Me" in 2013 and four of their albums made it into NME's The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2013.
