Four Months After Killing Near Citi Field, Brooklyn Man Arrested: NYPD

QUEENS — A man from Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday after the killing of a 33-year-old man who was found dead inside a vehicle parked near Citi Field in Willets Point earlier this year, police said.

Angeles Araujo, 28, was arrested after police found Jose Guadalupe, who was unhoused, fatally attacked at 127th Street, near 35th Avenue, in the back of a parked vehicle, the NYPD said.

Araujo, from East New York, was arrested on murder and weapon charges, authorities said.
