QUEENS, NY — Flights in and out of LaGuardia Airport are experiencing significant delays Wednesday due to low visibility from wildlife smoke coming from Canada.

Delays of up to two hours were reported Wednesday, according to the FAA, which tracks the length of delays. The airport warned passengers that weather conditions were causing flight disruptions.

The FAA implemented a ground stop at LaGuardia earlier in the afternoon, which was lifted at 2 p.m.
