Gun Runners Who Sold Weapons From a Home Depot Parking Lot in Queens Arrested, DA Says
The pair brought the guns to Queens via the I-95 "Iron Pipeline," the DA said.

QUEENS — A pair of gun runners who smuggled weapons from Georgia and sold them in a Home Depot parking lot in Queens have been arrested, the borough's District Attorney said.
Anthony Black, 33, of Savannah, Georgia, and Rasheem Greene, 24, of Lake Park, Florida, sold the weapons in bundles of two to six in the South Ozone Park lot for between $1,400 and $5,000, DA Richard Brown said. They were brought into city via the I-95 "Iron Pipeline."

The two were arrested Thursday and charged with trafficking and selling 13 guns, as well as attempting to sell another five to undercover police officers between February 2016 and March 2017.
Bail was set at $500,000 each and they are due back in court on April 17.

The men were arrested after an undercover officer contacted Black via text message and set a date to meet him at the Home Depot lot.
They met on four occasions and the officer bought 13 guns in total, Brown said.
After the arrest Thursday, police searched the mens' car and recovered five firearms along with 25 rounds of ammunition and a bag of marijuana, the DA said.
Below is a full list of dates of the meetings and the weapons recovered.
(1) On February 29, 2016, Black met with the undercover officer at approximately 2:20 p.m. and sold two .38 caliber Hi-Point firearms and .38 caliber rounds of ammunition for $1,500, Brown said.
(2) April 6, 2016: Black met with the undercover officer at approximately 3:55 p.m. and sold a .40 caliber Glock, a .25 caliber Titan firearm, and fourteen .40 caliber rounds of ammunition for $1,400, according to the DA.
(3) June 30, 2016: Black met with the undercover officer at approximately 2:15 p.m. and sold a 9mm Hi-Point firearm, a 9mm Smith and Wesson firearm, a .45 caliber Taurus firearm and a plastic bag containing 30 rounds of ammunition for $2,550, Brown said.
(4) September 26, 2016: With Greene sitting in the vehicle and acting as a lookout, Black met with the undercover officer at approximately 4:50 p.m. and sold a 9mm Kahr Arms, a .38 caliber Cobray, a .22 caliber Browning, a .40 caliber Glock, a 9mm Sig Arms, a .45 caliber Ruger, and assorted rounds of ammunition and magazines for $5,000, Brown said.
(5) March 29, 2017: Black sold the officer five firearms. Two .40 caliber Smith and Wesson, a .38 caliber Walther, a .45 caliber Hi-Point, a .22 caliber Walther, and 25 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition were found in their car’s trunk were recovered during a search, the DA said.
