QUEENS, NY — A man found stabbed, slashed and brutalized inside a Rockaway home died at the hands of a homeless man during an argument, police said.

Gyasi Denis, 35, faces a manslaughter charge after his arrest Saturday — hours after NYPD officers responded to a 911 call from 11-24 McBridge Street, near Regina Avenue, authorities said.

Officers arrived about 12:45 a.m. to find an unconscious and unresponsive man inside the home, with trauma to his face, police said. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene, prompting an investigation that eventually led to Denis, authorities said.
