QUEENS, NY — A maggot-covered human leg was found sticking from a dumpster outside a Queens bank, according to police and reports.

The grisly discovery late Wednesday afternoon is under investigation by police, who said they did not know yet whether it belonged to a man or woman.

Cops responded to a 6:30 p.m. call about a human body part spotted in a blue recycling bin in the TD Bank parking lot at 164th Street and Union Turnpike, police said.

The body part was covered with maggots, the New York Post reported.
