JetBlue Kicks Man Off Plane After 'Conflict' With Fellow Passenger Ivanka Trump

QUEENS, NY — A man "causing conflict" on a parked JetBlue plane at JFK Airport was kicked off the plane Thursday morning, the airline confirmed, after he reportedly spotted Ivanka Trump and her kids riding coach and began ridiculing the soon-to-be First Family.

A passenger on the flight told TMZ that the man, whose own child was in his arms, said, "Your father is ruining the country," and asked out loud: "Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private."

When JetBlue employees kicked him off the flight to San Francisco, the witness who spoke to TMZ remembered him saying: "You're kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!!"

Matthew Lasner, a professor at Hunter College on the Upper East Side and author of "Affordable Housing in New York," said in a series of now-deleted tweets that it was him and his husband who were kicked off the flight. (Screenshots below.)

The first tweet: "Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil"

The second: "Ivanka and Jared on our flight. My husband expressed displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane."

And the third, with a photo: "Ivanka before @JetBlue kicked us off our flight when a flt attendant overhead my husband expressing displeasure about flying w/ Trumps."

Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump's husband, can also be seen standing in the aisle in Lasner's photo.

"The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly," JetBlue said in a statement sent to Patch. "If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."
