JFK Airport Hilton Hotel To Shutter Amid Property Sale
Hilton New York JFK Airport on 135th Avenue in Jamaica will shutter in the next three months, laying off 125 workers.

QUEENS — The Hilton hotel located near the John F. Kennedy Airport will end its services in the coming months after the property was sold, according to an attorney familiar with the agreement.
Hilton New York JFK Airport on 135th Avenue in Jamaica will shutter in the next three months after the property was sold, laying off 125 workers on June 1, Pat Jones, an attorney for JFK Hotel Partners told Patch.
Jones did not disclose the identity of the property buyer.

The over 100 workers at the hotel, which opened in 1988, were given notice of the layoffs last week, Jones said, and they will get severance under the agreement.
