- Sushi lovers in New York will be able to grab their meals via a conveyer belt this summer. Kura Sushi will open its first conveyer-belt eatery in Flushing, the first location for New Yorkers. The chain confirmed a 10-year deal in a 3,040-square-foot revolving sushi bar restaurant in the mall portion of Tangram. (Commercial Observer)
- Between October and December 2022, Queens home sales plummeted 56 percent. MNS Real Estate found that sales dropped from $117 million over the summer to $51 million at the end of the year. Queen home prices also dropped to about $50,000. (Queens Patch)
- According to Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, over the last three months of 2022, New York's pension fund posted a 4.5 percent return. The pension fund now stands at a value of $242.3 billion. "The equity markets had some difficult times in 2022, but the Fund posted positive results for the quarter," DiNapoli said. (Spectrum News NY1)
