LIRR Train Kills Person In Queens, Service Impacted
BREAKING: The LIRR is reporting service on several branches is impacted as a result of the fatality.

QUEENS, NY — A person was struck and killed by a LIRR train in Queens Saturday morning, officials said.
The FDNY was called to the scene around 10:20 p.m. A spokesman for the FDNY told Patch that the person was confirmed to be deceased.
The LIRR is currently reporting 15-20 minute delays on the Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson, Oyster Bay and Hempstead Branches.
