Man ,35, Arrested After Shoving 82-Year-Old Onto Train Tracks

QUEENS, NY — A man has been arrested and charged for allegedly shoving an 82-year-old woman onto the subway tracks in Queens last week, police said.

Harris Brandon, 35, has been charged with attempted murder and assault, police said.

The incident happened around noon at the Flushing-Main Street station.

Brandon, who was a stranger to the victim, came up and shoved the 82-year-old onto the subway track, police said.

The victim was found lying on the tracks by police and was taken to a local hospital for a head injury.

She is currently in stable condition, according to police.
