A 36-year-old man was shot inside a Rockaway Park Shuttle car on Sunday, police said.

QUEENS — A 36-year-old man was shot inside a Rockaway Park Shuttle car on Sunday, police said.
The 36-year-old was inside a shuttle traveling from Beach 105th Street to Beach 116th Street about 9 p.m. when a man struck him in the face with a firearm while demanding money, the NYPD said.
The straphanger gave the man his wallet, which had ID and about $120, and then the attacker shot the 36-year-old in the upper right leg, authorities said.

The shooter fled at the Rockaway Park-Beach 116 Street station, and the 36-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
The NYPD released images of the shooter on Thursday.
