Man Charged After Police Find 19 Firearms In Queens Home: DA
Kevin Sygney, 37, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of controlled substances, prosecutors said.
QUEENS — A man from St. Albans faces multiple charges after police found more than a dozen firearms in his home, as well as several bags of cocaine and “molly,” the Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
Kevin Sygney, 37, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of controlled substances after a court-authorized search led police to find 19 firearms, ammunition, four bags of cocaine, and one bag of the drug known as “molly” on Jan. 17, prosecutors said.
Sygney faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted, Katz said.

The police conducted the search about 7:15 p.m., and also found over $1,746.25 in Sygney’s home in St. Albans, the district attorney said.
Sygney is scheduled to come back to court on Jan. 23, 2023, prosecutors said.
