Man Arrested After Sexually Abusing Teen On NYC Subway Train, NYPD Says

The suspect was taken into custody by police on Wednesday.

QUEENS, NY — A 65-year-old man has been arrested and charged after sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl on a subway train in Queens.

Stanley Campbell, of Valley Stream, was taken into custody by police on Wednesday in connection with the May 28 incident.

The suspect has since been charged with sexual abuse and harassment, police said.

According to police, Campbell abused the teenager on a northbound E train near the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue subway station. He allegedly pressed his body against her thigh and touched her private area over her clothes.

There were no injuries reported from the incident.
