Man Chased Away After Attempted Home Invasion In Elmhurst: NYPD

Police are searching for the man who entered a home between 51st Avenue and 90th Street on Dec. 25, 2022.

QUEENS — A 69-year-old man in Elmhurst chased away a man who attempted to rob a home on Christmas Day, police said.

Police are searching for the man who entered a home between 51st Avenue and 90th Street on Dec. 25, 2022, about 9 a.m. and threatened a 75-year-old woman with a knife, the NYPD said.

The man was then chased away by a 69-year-old man, and no injuries were reported or property was taken, authorities said.

Police released images of the man who entered the residence.
