Man Fatally Struck By 7 Train In Queens, Police Say
It is not known at this time how the man ended up on the tracks.
QUEENS, NY — A man was fatally struck by a 7 train in Queens during the morning rush hour on Wednesday.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. at the Court Square station in Long Island City, police said.
Officers at the scene found a man unresponsive on the tracks. He was reportedly struck by a Manhattan-bound train.

The victim was transported to Cornell Hospital for his injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
The man is believed to be in his 30s. It is not known at this time how the man ended up on the tracks.

No criminality is suspected at this time, police said.
The victim's identity has not been released pending family notification.
