Man Found Dead Inside Vehicle Near Citi Field: Police

QUEENS — A 33-year-old man was found dead inside a vehicle parked near Citi Field in Willets Point on Tuesday, police said.

The man was found with apparent trauma to the body about midday Tuesday at 127th Street, near 35th Avenue, in the back of a parked vehicle, the NYPD said.

The man’s identity is pending family notification, authorities said.

Police said they are investigating the case as a homicide.
