Police ID's Man Killed In Murder-Suicide In NYC Home

QUEENS, NY — A man killed in an apparent murder-suicide over the weekend in Queens has been identified, police said on Monday.

Prince McFarlane, 37, was found shot in the head inside 155-18 116 Road in Jamaica on Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, a 41-year-old man fatally shot McFarlane before he turned the gun on himself. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The two men killed were relatives, according to police.

The 41-year-old man has not been identified yet. A motive into the shooting has not been disclosed.

An investigation remains ongoing.
