Man Punches Pedestrian In North Corona, Attempts To Rob Wallet: NYPD

A man punched a 25-year-old in the face on 37th Avenue and 102nd Street and then demanded his wallet and cell phone, police said.

Police released images of the man who punched the 25-year-old on Tuesday, stating that he was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black coat with a white shirt underneath, dark-colored pants, and white sneakers.​​​

QUEENS — A 25-year-old man was punched in the face during an attempted robbery in North Corona last week, police said.

A man punched the 25-year-old in the face on 37th Avenue and 102nd Street and then demanded his wallet and cell phone on May 10 around 4:45 a.m., the NYPD said.

The 25-year-old refused and ran away, while the attacker fled on 37th Street, authorities said.
