Man Put In Chokehold and Robbed At Jamaica Subway Station: Police
The two men stole his wallet and later tried to purchase merchandise with his credit cards, police say.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- The NYPD is looking for two men who made off with a man's wallet after putting him in a chokehold and punching him at a subway station in Jamaica, police told Patch.
Police said on Saturday, Nov. 18, at around 9:45 p.m., the two suspects approached the 54-year-old man inside the Sutphin Boulevard "F" subway station. One of the men placed him in a chokehold and forced him to the ground while the other searched his pockets and took his wallet, according to the NYPD.
The suspects punched the man numerous times before fleeing in an unknown direction with his wallet, which contained $10 in cash and two credit cards, authorities said. The man was treated at a nearby hospital for his injuries.

A police investigation found the two men later attempted to use the man's credit cards to make purchases at various locations near the subway station, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The NYPD released surveillance photos of both suspects, who police described as being 20 to 30 years old. The first man, who had a black backpack, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a black vest, dark colored jeans and black sneakers. The second man, who has a beard, was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black coat with a fur-lined hood, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
